The Innovate Fund Provides $7 Million in New Markets Tax Credits to Ingevity Corporation

North Charleston, S.C., Nov. 26, 2019–The Innovate Fund announced Nov. 15, 2019, an allocation of $7 million in new markets tax credits to Ingevity Corporation for the construction of its new headquarters in North Charleston, S.C. Ingevity provides specialty chemicals, high-performance carbon materials and engineered polymers that purify, protect and enhance. The new headquarters is estimated to support 250 permanent jobs and 43 construction jobs over the compliance period.
